The Prevocational Medical Assurance Services (PMAS) is a business unit within the People and Organisational Capability in the NT Department of Health. The functions of PMAS are to facilitate, promote and support prevocational medical education and training by -
Providing and maintaining NT Prevocational accreditation services
Working with NT Health Services on policy and processes for recruitment of prevocational medical staff
Coordination of NT Bonded Medical Scheme return of service medical students/graduates
Contribute to prevocational workforce mapping in the Northern Territory
Monitor the health and wellbeing of prevocational medical trainees

NT PMAS are pleased to announce the recipient of the 2019 CPMEC Junior Doctor of the Year was awarded to NT resident medical officer Dr Sanjay Joseph.
Dr Joseph was commended for his passion and dedication to rural and remote medicine, his continual improvement of prevocational medical education and training in the NT and commitment to promoting junior doctor health and well being.
This is an outstanding achievement for Dr Joseph and the PMAS staff congratulate you for your hard work and dedication.
