NORTHERN TERRITORY
PREVOCATIONAL MEDICAL EDUCATION &
TRAINING AWARDS

Junior Doctor & Clinical Educator of the Year

2023

Nominations for the Junior Doctor & Clinical Educator of the Year 2023 are now closed

Since 2010, the Confederation of Postgraduate Medical Education Councils (CPMEC) has recognised junior doctors and clinical educators across Australia and New Zealand who have made a valuable contribution to prevocational medical education and training.

The awards have a two tiered structure; jurisdictional recipients are selected for the local awards by each Postgraduate Medical Council (PMC) or equivalent and these recipients are then nominated for the national awards in the same categories.

The NT recipients of each award are national nominees invited to attend the Australian and New Zealand Prevocational Medical Education Forum (ANZPMEF) held annually in the different CPMEC member jurisdiction hosting the forum. Each jurisdiction's recipient is recognised by CPMEC as nominees for the national awards that are announced and presented at the forum. Over the years a number of NT award winners in both categories have been recognised at the national level for their contributions to prevocational medical education and training in the NT.

To nominate a junior doctor or clinical educator please see the information sheets and nomination forms below.

Please contact us if you require any assistance to submit your nomination.
