HEALTH CONSUMER/COMMUNITY REPRESENTATIVE

Seeking Health Consumers or Community Members for the Prevocational Accreditation Committee and Panel
PMAS are seeking health consumers or community members for the:

Prevocational Accreditation Committee (PAC)
Prevocational Accreditation Panel (PAP)


Members will be appointed both Territory-wide and interstate, aiming to bring an essential and diverse perspective to decisions in relation to prevocational accreditation in the NT.

All appointments will be for a 3 year term with the option to extend for one further term.

The PAC is an independent standards committee for NT prevocational medical education and training programs. Its purpose is to ensure that standards of education, training and assessment of the prevocational medical profession promote and protect the health of the NT community.


The PAP considers survey team findings and endorse/not endorse survey team report recommendations, including the recommended period of accreditation to be granted for the PAC to consider and make the final accreditation decision.
