Return of Service Obligation (RoSO)
Successful NT resident applicants to the Northern Territory Medical Program are offered a place subject to signing an NT Bonded Medical Scheme Return of Service Obligation Deed of Agreement with the Northern Territory Government. This allows them to study without the burden of a Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) debt and provides the benefit of guaranteed employment within the Northern Territory for four years on graduation including 3 years after successful completion of their internship (postgraduate year 1).
