General Practitioners (GP) are often the first point of contact in matters of personal health. General Practice provides person centered, continuing, comprehensive and coordinated whole person health care to individuals and families in their communities.

Prerequisites​

• Satisfactory completion of required period of training - 3 years full time for Fellowship Royal Australian College Practitioners (FRACGP) or 4 years full time for Fellowship Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM)

• Meet education requirements of Australian General Practice Training (AGPT)

• Pass the ACRRM and/or Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Program
