Prevocational Medical Education and Training Awards
Congratulations to the 2019 NT Recipients!
The Northern Territory Prevocational Medical Assurance Services (PMAS) are delighted to announce the recipients of the Northern Territory 2019 Clinical Educator of the Year Award and the 2019 Junior Doctor of the Year Award. This year we have two joint recipients for each award.
These recipients will progress as the NT nominees for the national Confederation of Postgraduate Medical Councils (CPMEC) Award of the same title for their signification contribution to improving prevocational medical education and training in the NT. The national awards will be announced at the Australia and New Zealand Prevocational Medical Education Forum in Canberra, ACT on the 26th - 30th of October 2019.

CPMEC National Junior Doctor of the Year 2019
NT PMAS are pleased to announce the recipient of the 2019 CPMEC Junior Doctor of the Year was awarded to NT resident medical officer Dr Sanjay Joseph.
Dr Joseph was commended for his passion and dedication to rural and remote medicine, his continual improvement of prevocational medical education and training in the NT and commitment to promoting junior doctor health and well being.
This is an outstanding achievement for Dr Joseph and the PMAS staff congratulate you for your hard work and dedication.
